This is a mathematical challenge, and it's been said that:

* If you're an engineer, you should be able to solve it in (under) three minutes,
* if you're an architect, in three hours;
* if you're a doctor, in six hours;
* if you're an accountant, in three months and
* If you're a lawyer, probably never.

What is the missing number in this logical series?

1, 2, 6, 42, 1806, ____???

Got it within 10 mins.

The sequence starts with 1 then......

(1*1) + 1 = 2

(2*2) + 2 = 6

(6*6) + 6 = 42

(42*42) + 42 = 1806

(1806*1806) + 1806 = 3263442

Hence, answer is 3263442.

I'm not an engineer, or an architect, or a doctor, or an accountant, or even a lawyer. I'm just a business student.

But I solve it differntly and within 3-5 minutes.

The sequence starts with 1 then......

(After 1 comes 2) 2 * 1 = 2

(After 2 comes 3) 2 * 3 = 6

(After 6 comes 7) 6 * 7 = 42

(After 42 comes 43) 42 * 43 = 1806

(After 1806 comes 1807) 1806 * 1807 = 3263442

Hence, answer is 3263442.

But your sequence is more appropriate. Well done

IF
7 + 6 = 113
9 + 1 = 810
5 + 3 = 2 8
9 + 6 = 315
Then,
7 + 2 =?
