Yeah i agree but if we have ever heard those words in our life I think we can read them easily.. like Cardiology, dermatology, ophthalmology, botany, etc.

Salaam,
I agree to the statement that we can read the above post without any problem. But i think spellings are of utmost importance also. for instance if we won't have learnt spellings then definitely no one would have been able to read without problem. In this age where we are studying at Higher education level or either we've completed the studies, we'r so much used-to of spellings that we don't go on each letter instead we percieve the whole word. But if we look at some junior level (school children), there the consequence of the above paragraph will be different. Similarly the people who don't have proficiency in reading will also have problem, because they go through spellings very particularly.
Secondly there are some words which have common starting and ending letters, i.e.'principle & principal' ,'stationary & stationery' , 'bought & brought' etc. so here the importance of the spelling cannot be denied because here the arrangement and difference of 'inner' letters are the only way to identify the meaning.
Well overall the research is a good effort . I really enjoyed reading although i thought i can't.

Regards
Qurat

Yes we can read such a passage because our minds are able to do it. But the mere fact that we can read such misspelled paragraph rightly cannot become any basic principle of our mind system. As already has been pointed out by Miss. Qurratulain, only those persons can read it rightly who just habitually read English passages. This fact therefore cannot become any basic principle of mind because it is applicable to only those people who habitually read English. Those people who know just ABC, would read it while pronouncing the 'words' in the same misspelled form.

Most basic principle of mind is that we tend to perceive the things on the basis of any ALREADY POSSESSED IN OUR MEMORIES, 'SIMILAR' or 'ASSOCIATED' information to those things.

And this 'principle of mind' is not any superficial thing at all. Depths of this principle, as I know it, cannot even be covered in very heavy multi volume book.

Thanks!
