Behind Every Man Is A Smart Woman
American journalist Barbara Walters of Television's 20/20 did a story
on gender roles in Kabul , Afghanistan, several years before the Afghan conflict. She noted that women customarily walked 5 paces behind their husbands. She recently returned to Kabul and observed that women still walk behind their husbands. From Ms. Walter's vantage point, despite the overthrow of the oppressive Taliban regime, the women now seem to walk even further back behind their husbands and are happy to maintain the old custom. Ms. Walters approached one of the Afghani women and asked, "Why do you now seem happy with the old custom that you once tried so desperately to change?" The woman looked Ms. Walters straight in the eyes, and without hesitation said, "Land mines." *MORAL OF THE STORY*: BEHIND EVERY MAN IS A SMART WOMAN |

USA, several years before trying to enter into civilized life. He noted that women customarily walked 5 paces ahead their husbands Khakan recently returned to washington n observed tht woman walk is beyond any steps of their husbands. they are free now From Mr. Khakan's vantage point, despite the overthrow of savagery, slavery, uncivilization, barbarity, faith, the woman now seem to tht they evn r not visible with naked eye, husbands ve to use mircroscope to find thm out n bring thm back at home. they are happy to maintain their uncivilized life bcz those who ve tradition, civilization - can maintain, those who dont cant. Mr.Khakan apprached one of the afghani women and asked, "Why do you now seem happy the old custom tht u once tried so desperaty to chang n demand the status which Islam provided to woman? I dont think so fun can be used as propaganda. (This is my personal viewpoint)
Fun we read, enjoy and forget. WE read lots of hillarious things relating to Sikhs and Pathans, we enjoy and forget

Fun is one of the best tools of propaganda. The pathan and sikh jokes you are referring to are not just forgotten. They are used for stigmatization. How many people around you think that Sikhs are stupid, and pathans are..... just by listening to all these jokes all the time. The joke itself might be forgotten but the feeling, the insight, always remains in the back of your head. Same is the case with jokes about women!
Do you know who Ba'al was? This guy used to make fun of our Holy Prophet (PBUH) through his poetry. When Mecca was finally conquered, he was one of the very few people about whom it was ordered that they should not be spared (you might remember that even Hinda, the wife of Abu Jehal, who had eaten the liver of Hazrat Abu Hamza (RTA) was forgiven). It was expressly ordered about Ba'al that he should be killed even if he hides behind the walls of Ka'aba. Why? Because the Holy Prophet (PBUH) realized through his God given wisdom that Islam can't become a religion of every man so long as people like Ba'al keep on inventing new ways to make fun of it. Hope that explains my point :-)
