i Am New Here And I Really Don't Know About The Exam ,that's Why I Am Questioning Too Much. The Members Help Too Much, Which Is Very Good. My Question Is That Do The Examiners Of Other Papers Check The Grammer As Strickely As Of The English Paper's Examiner Do? Because Of This Fear I Want To Do Islamiat Paper In Urdu, Because I Am Not Satisfy With My Grammer.so Please Tell Me What To Do, If They Don't Check Grammer, Then I Will Do It In English.

What do you expect in all other subjects which you have to attempt in english. Grammar is a basic requirement of all the exams be it CSS or any other. But the strict adherence towards grammar is not similar to that of english composition and Essay papers. Even then examiner gets irritated in other papers too if you violate grammar rules frequently. It is far sure that you won't get desired score in those papers if your writings are ill structured and grammatically flawed. It is better to be safe than sorry. Improve your grammar and do not try to create mess in the papers because presentation of any thing counts a lot. I assign you one task : Assume you are authorized to assess papers of sociology. There are three papers infront of you. Mr. A and MR. B have written same stuff (because they prepared same notes as they were brothers and used to study in a group and prepared and crammed same notes) the material is same in their paper but Mr. A has committed some spelling mistakes and at times he forgot some crammed lines and inserted his own with few grammatical errors, his handwriting is little bit poor also. While paper of Mr. B is free from these errors/mistakes. Mr. C has prepared from various sources and he presented his paper in an excellent style with effective material. Mr. C's paper is free from these blunders which Mr. A committed. Mr. C's paper has covered some extra relevant points along with all the concepts which Mr. A and Mr. B presented in their paper.

Now you have to decide their merit. I am sure a rational mind will rank them like this:
1) Mr. C
2) Mr. B
3) Mr. A

If you have opted for Urdu version of Islamiat just because your grammar is weak it is not a good decision. But it would have been a calculated decision if you had decided for Urdu version of Islamiat just because Islamiat in Urdu fetches highest score and you can well express your Islamic concepts in Urdu as compared to English.

AOA everyone,well i m also new here but've learnt a lot through this site about the CSS exams.Whole credit goes to the team of CSS Forums for giving such a helping plateform.....& to the participants also.& yes i am just having a confusion these days maybe anyone of you can sort it out.I just want to ask as if there is any official advertisement regarding the registeration of the next yr's exams.I know about the exam's date but when the formal procedure for applying for CSS will start?can anyone tell me plz.

Dear there has been official adv. just for the date of commencemnt of exams..i-e 15 of march,fpsc will advertise again in end of Jan. or begginig of Feb. abt the formal procedure of submission of application forms...
