Well, English literature is surely not my strongest area and I guess people who are really good at it, should go for it. If you think you can do well by looking at the past papers and syllabus then why not go for it but do spend some time on working out different combination of optional subjects. As in my case, I started with the feeling that I will take Pure Maths, Accounting, and Physics!! But then I thought Pure Maths would be difficult (even though number-stuff is my strongest area) and its 200 marks so better opt something else. Same thing went for physics. So then I moved to Indo-Pak history, which again is a challenging area for me as I am not good in remembering dates and events!

So, finally I came up with the following combination:
Accounting and Auditing, Statistics, Sociology, International Law, and Mecentile Law

I am comfortable with the first two subjects but Law and Sociology will demand real hard work from me. Nevertheless, if prepared properly, I beleive, the latter three subjects would yield me some good marks.

I am an Accounts/Finance background - have done Masters in Finance so anything to do with history, language and theory will give me some problem.
What about your combination of optional subjects?

thanx 4 appreciating me and my stamina. my optional subjects wud preferably be eng literature if i will find it mraks giving and then i`ll go 4 journalism,constitutional law an political science but i`m not sure at the moment whether i will continue with them or not. 1st i`ll have a clear idea of all of them and then i `ll decicde. kindly do let me know about where u live and do tell me ur messenger i`d so that we can have sum discussion. with regards. rania.

Yes, for sure Rania, we will stay in touch to have good discussion on CSS and to learn more as we go along. I am still discovering CSS and finding out new things about it. I can see we have no similar optional subject but since our choices are still tentative, we might end up having atleast one similar!

Anyway, even if we dont have that, we have 6 same compulsory question paper! For me, they are relatively difficullt to prepare!

I am from Karachi, but presently working in Qatar. I have not started anything yet as I do not have the study material but inshaALLAH in 10-15 days time, I will have the books. After that we can have specific discussions on topics as well.

ohh sure,i think,i`m feeling inclined towards sociology because i`ve figured out that people have got more marks in sociology than any other subject,if i opt that one thjan we`ll have one common subject. anyways,lets give it sum more time to just chek out different subjects only then we can be sure about it. with regards.
