Dear i have same optional subjects as urs... Urdu gives good score if u put ur efforts in it. Just read the book of Sohail Bhatti coz it has enough qulity material i it to get good score.

No doubt the cource of Urdu is lengthy but u can select important n most repeated topics from previous papers to save ur time.

If u have interest in it then opt it it'll give u good sore if u prepare it wisely.

Best of Luck

aoa

hope ma post findz u in gud health n spirit.

comin directly to point i wud say that any subject u feel u r gud at, is scorin wen it comez to css. and btw each subject iz as time consumin as other can b. these are shallow myths dat one subject iz more marks bearin than the other subject or more or less time consumin than the other one in cse context.

it is the crux ov ma experience, right to differ is definetly there!!

now as far as urdu is concerned i know many ppl who score realy great in urdu and a broad majority endorse its selection as an optional. hoeva jus being gud at readin urdu fiction/poetry or bearin an interest in urdu literature shall not b (though very important) the only basis for its slecetion as an optional cuz wen it comes to takin css exam thingz become a bit practical n difficult..

hope i made ma point.

plz ignore if um being ne trouble.

best ov luck
