Islam Invite to the Way of your Lord with wisdom and fair preaching, and argue with them in a way that is better. Truly, your Lord knows best who has gone astray from His Path, and He is the Best Aware of those who are guided." Holy Qur'an 16:125 |

"O God! If I worship You for fear of Hell, burn me in Hell,
and if I worship You in hope of Paradise, exclude me from Paradise. But if I worship You for Your Own sake, grudge me not Your everlasting Beauty." (Rabia Basri) |

Allah : Sab tareefain Allah k liye hain Jo maalik ha roz e akhirat ka Khaliq ha sab jahanoon ka Ibadaat issliye nahin ki jaati k jahannumka darr ha,infact hell is the punishment of wrong doings and Heaven is reward But Ibadaat iss liye hain kion k Allah he hai jo ibaadat k laiq hai,ye uski baraii hai k hum sb uski ibadat karain or sajda shukr baja layein........wo jannat dy tb b uski merzi, jahanum me daal dy tb bhe wohi maalik o qaadir ha So the statement given by the teacher is not right in any case!!!! The teacher was both right and wrong. Religion is Indeed not creation of fear however what she said about people worshiping because of fear is very true. Most People (If not all) do worship and practice their respective religions because of the fear of Hell or for the love of heaven (To Which again, if contra positive LOGIC is applied, means nothing else but fear of hell)
I, However am surprised, why are people here trying to give an image that fear in such context is unacceptable or undesirable. (Surah Nisah, chapter 4, verse 131) "And to Allah belongs whatever is in the heavens and whatever is on the earth. And We have instructed those who were given the Scripture before you and yourselves to fear Allah. But if you disbelieve - then to Allah belongs whatever is in the heavens and whatever is on the earth. And ever is Allah Free of need and Praiseworthy. " (Surah Al-Imran, chapter 3, verse 102) "O you who have believed, fear Allah as He should be feared and do not die except as Muslims [in submission to Him]. " In surah al araf verse 156 it is said "And My mercy encompasses all things, and I shall decree it for those who fear Me" So fear is nothing bad, Allah himself asks us to fear him and be obedient. So, the teacher was right when he/she said that most people worship because they fear (fearing is takwa, something good) not bad (In the context) |

Invlincible : We are Indeed ghulams i.e servants of Allah. Aren't we? That's what we all believe, that's what is derived from the Quran and Sunnah. So, hamari ibadat agar ghulamo wali bi ho so what? We all, including those who worship Allah for the sake of his oneness is also servant of Allah. Ibadat sab ki ghulamo wali hai, techniacally

We should take it positive way. One may follow religion for spiritual satisfaction, other may for motivation to enter paradise.

can any one of you explain the the the the concept of Fate/destiny w r t Hell? as we know that we have a destiny, whatever we do, unchangeable, written in "loh i mahifooz" (book of Allah). so fire/ frost (as it is not only fire that will torment the sinners) is waiting for us! Whatever we do will not help us to diverge us from our that destinty ,if written so. So hell is good thing because God has chosen it for us! (that is seroius joke friends, to make my point) that is also one of the misconceptions of theorists. above mentioned fear (by miss khoso) is aslo due to such misconceptions.
so be practical muslim, read Quran, and think optimistically. Make intention that:"Allah will not put us on fire His best Creation, Ummah of His prophet Muhammad(SAWW)": but plz that is not an ostrich policy mein jab university mein tha tu ek din class start hone se pehley kisi ne board per likha tha (sorry a bit vulgar) "zindagi ka koi bharosa nahi, ao pyar karein" these are psychological conditions better be cured by psychatrists than us (halfwits). |
