Islam Invite to the Way of your Lord with wisdom and fair preaching, and argue with them in a way that is better. Truly, your Lord knows best who has gone astray from His Path, and He is the Best Aware of those who are guided." Holy Qur'an 16:125

Default Importance/Reward of Prayer particularly in Ramadan

Dear All,

As We all know that the holy month of Ramadan has just started. In this month, the credit for every farz increases 70 times and credit for every nafal equals farz.
Prayer is the one among the pillars of Islam and obligatory on every Muslim man and woman. I would like to highlight the importance of prayer particularly in the month of Ramadan. Here is a simple calculation:

Credit for 1 prayer in Ramadan= 70 times
Credit for 1 prayer offered b’ajamat in Ramadan= 70 * 27 = 1890 times
(Equivalent to 1890 prayers offered individually in months other than Ramadan)

If a person individually offers a prayer five times a day in months other than Ramadan and continues doing it for a year, he will offer 5 * 365 = 1825 prayers
It is very evident from the above calculation that one prayer offered b’ajamat in the month of Ramadan has more credit than all the prayers offered individually at home etc. for a year in months other than Ramadan. (1890 > 1825)

Therefore, we should try our best to offer ba’jamat namaz in the month of Ramadan. May Almighty Allah guide us and shower upon us his blessings in Ramadan ul Mubarak! AMEEN!

Please do remember me in your prayers.
