Islam Invite to the Way of your Lord with wisdom and fair preaching, and argue with them in a way that is better. Truly, your Lord knows best who has gone astray from His Path, and He is the Best Aware of those who are guided." Holy Qur'an 16:125

Red face Revelation and its reality

While our Prophet (S.A.W) was in the cave of Hira, Angel Gibrael came and said “Good tidings to you that I am Gibrael, sent by Allah Ta’ala to you. You are Prophet of Allah. It is on you invite Jinns and Men towards Kalma Tayyaba (Pure statement) La Ilaha Il Allah,” and then asked him to say “Read”.

Dear Prophet (S.A.W) said I am not (academically) educated; Gibrael Ameen took Him (SAW) in his arms and then pressed his chest forcefully. He again said I’m not (academically) educated, then again the same response, till the third time on receiving the same reply, Angel Gibrael said, “Read with the name of Allah… ” (Five aayat of Surat ul Aluq)

Here the points to be noted

His (S.A.W) teacher was Allah Himself; nobody among men was given this honor before.

THE CHEST OF OUR DEAR PROPHET WAS BEING PREPARED FOR THE LOAD OF QURAAN. ALLAH SAYS IN THE HOLY QURAN, THAT HAD THIS QURAAN BEEN GIVEN TO A MOUNTAIN, IT WOULD HAVE SHATTERED.

He did not just repeat the word Read when Angel addressed him. This is a Rassol’s level. The Rasool gets whatever he gets from Allah. Without that reference, he doesn’t do anything. The name of Allah took him on, and immediately he recited all five ayaat at once. He got the God’s entire directive in it.

Then after more praise for Allah the Creator, the attention is diverted to the creation of universe and then to man so that the welfare of mankind is established as Furdz for this Prophet (S.A.W).

It is established that the creation of either universe or man is purposeful. So that man is not mislead into leading a meaningless life. that for the ummat, mere education is not Fardz (compulsory). But all education and knowledge should be for Allah, for the name of Allah, and for the marfat (enlightenment, illumination, deeper understanding) of Allah. That is education should be useful and purposeful for self and for mankind. This is Furdz.

Pen is mentioned so gloriously as not only with the word of mouth but also with pen these realities would be restored for future generations.

Then this knowledge is not just attainable through the five senses alone, rather they will obtain what they don’t know themselves. That is those branches and sections of Iman which are related to the knowledge of Allah, and whose insight can only be had through his Rasool (S.A.W.).

In the fifth Ayat it is mentioned the point that I put up first.

Not only was this agenda given by God to our dear Prophet (S.A.W), furthermore Namaaz (Salaat) was given to pass through these difficulties easily.. Through Angel Gibrael Allah taught His beloved (S.A.W) the Wudoo and Salaat, with full care. Then both the Prophet (S.A.W) and Angel Gibrael offered their Salaat together. Salaat-which the Prophet (S.A.W) regarded as the pleasure of his eyes , was there after given to the Ummat.

Then the next part of the incident. When our Prophet (SAW) went to his home and asked Hazrat Bibi Khadija (R.A) “Put blanket on me, put blanket on me”. She did so, sprinkled some cold water on his face to remedy his fear. He said, “I’m worried not to fall in some danger”.

Let it be clear that these words were not spoken out of any worldly fear, or because Gibreal had pressed him.

It was the heaviest load of Prophethood, which asked for forbearance and patience along with its duties, that he felt with immense responsibility. Especially considering the state in which the Arabs were. The time had now come that not only in the Arabian Peninsula, not only for mankind, but also in the aalam (world) of Jinns. Not only for that period, but also for all times to come. That duty which would not end even at the commencement of qiamat, but with time, its responsibilities would increase.. Which after his demise from this world, in the ground of mehshar (judgment) and on the final stage of shafa’at would all comply solely with him.

How can anyone imagine the greatness of our dear Rasool.

SAL ALLAHO ALAN NABIYYIL UMMIYEE WASALLIM TASLIMAN KATHEERAN KATHEERAH.

(Durood of Allah be upon our Ummi Nabi and Salaam to a great extend)

There is one more theses given by Dr. H. Bilgrami, who was a scholar, and a very Saleh person, who had spent decades in Islamic study, was of a school of a thought that he said:

“Having been pressed by Gabriel (A.S), certainly the memories must have been refreshed. Pressing three times could possibly be the reminder of three eras. The first era could be when Lord created the blessed Noor of our Prophet (S.A.W), thereby creating The Book, the Pen, the Sky (Ursh), and Chair with it. Second era: when universe was created with it, and finally the appointment of Hazrat Adam (A.S) as the representative of God on Earth.”
