Please clarify your question.
Esa konsa NTS test hai jo 80 marks ka ho ?

And such tests are always MCQs based test so no matter if it's 80 marks test or 100 marks test, agr correct MCQs ho e 50 to score 50 e hoga.

if test consisted 80 marks and you obtained 50 marks it means you got 62.5 marks. in the test.

As far as I know, NTS result is calculated as a percentile. So a result of 50% means that 50% of the candidates got more marks than you. A percentile of 90% means only 10% of the candidates got more marks than you.

A 50% percentile does NOT necessarily mean that you did half the questions right. You have have 30 questions correct out of 100 and still get a percentile of 50%.

Look at your result card closely again as you may be confusing your percentile with your absolute score.

NTS gives percentile only in GAT test along with the obtained marks but in the rest of the tests conducted by NTS only obtained marks are mentioned. So, 50 marks simply means one has done 50 questions correct.

I know common sense is not common ali, but his question is also vague. I only gave explanation for what I could gather from his question.

He never told what kind of NTS test he was asking about.
