Is NTS merit based?

Hi.. today one of my friend told me that NTS is corrupt and not merit based ? kia ye baat sach he .. he said he got the job which nts has announced by reference .. he has not appeared in nts test too and got the job .. the job which nts announced was oF OGDCl.. ager ye baat sach he to NTS main fees zaya karne ka kia faida?

NTS is always doubted. If they are really plundering the hard earned income of their very own countrymen, then, they surely are committing a big crime.

NTS is a good organization as compare to other as it announces results very fast and have good management during test.
NTS just conducts the test and hands over the result to concerned department then what departments do is not supervised by NTS and NTS is not responsible for it.

If any thing as you mentioned has happened then the problem is with the parent organization not with the intermediary one - NTS. Because NTS is only liable for conducting the recruitment test and then setting the merit, rest of the work lies in the hand of Employer organization. so can not blame NTS solely...

Then what is the use of conducting NTS Test if final decision is made by employer department.

Because departments are not allowed to hire directly and test is compulsory.

NTS, whilst itself is fair, but is corrupt to the extent of not disclosing its "Memorandum of Understanding" with the government department that hires its services. NTS almost criminally acts like it is hiring and the process is clear like anything, while, to the contrary, NTS is only deceiving the masses, being pleasurably/agreeably employed as an eyewash in the hands of its corrupt master i.e. the concerned government department.

Corruption is the lone reason why unemployment is hitting new milestones. Make a joint effort; populate campaigns against corruption in Pakistan, may they make use of name and shame, they may! From the PM to the Naib Qasid, hold anybody involved accountable. Government is our servant, we are not its'!

NTS is just minting money and yes they take test on merit but than they handover result to Concern organization. And Organizations mainly Government department hire people with strong reference, so where goes merit than. NTS is mainly responsible for this because Hiring is a complete process from screening, shortlisting, tests, interview and than selection. So NTS just on merit following two stages of hiring. NTS ka faida uthata hoa Government organization bhi log apni marzi ka bharti kr raha and awam ki ankhon mein dhool jhokna ka lia ya kaha jata ka merit pa hiring hoe NTS ka through test hoa.

Yes you are absolutely right. Complete process of hiring from application submitting to the final selection should be carried out through NTS. Employer department should not be involved at any stage of process of hiring.
