never leave permanent job even scale 11 for scale 18, 19,20 contract job.

there are too many examples, left comfortable 17 grade job for 18 grade salary difference 20-25000. Few months later, contract terminated, now sitting and regretting leaving permanent job. whats more that same permanent job salary increased by 25000 so now its equal in pay! and left with nothing in hand!

Dont ever do it! contract job are treated worse than animals! suggest you negotiate a higher post or package with your director instead of this act! please avoid it at all cost.

it depends on your relation with director.

in many cases, if you are performing good have good feedback good relation with colleagues and director you can be offered better incentive to continue in same post.

however your case is different as you are in university there could be many students used for same post if i am not mistaken.

sharing the letter should be done carefully after consultation with your seniors/family members/trusted friends as it can have both positive or negative impact too.

on the negative side the director may develop mistrust, see you as unreliable etc.
