Guys this might be very off topic but I need suggestions from someone who knows about this. Currently I am at a loss to get my aunt's pension to be disbursed.

First there was a lot of gap in disbursing the pension on our part so the bank officers asked us to submit life certificate which we duly submitted and the pension account was activated. We received the pensions but after just 2 months of gap the officials started objecting again and asked for Non Marriage Certificate and Life Certificate (again). I have got the life certificate done. I got the Non marriage certificate on stamp paper (which they themselves asked) but they rejected it still and asked to get it done from UC.

I went to the UC office for Non marriage certificate where they said the office for that kind of work is not yet functional. My query is that would the bank officials object to Non Marriage Certificate attested by any Gazzeted officer?

The officials said to get it done from UC but the certificate makes no such mention and simply asks for an attestation from a Gazzeted officer. I feel the bank officials are doing this deliberately for some reason. We do not have any connections to get them to listen though.

I ask this also because UC office demands a death certificate of the husband as well which we have lost as it has been more than 10 years since my uncle's death and getting it made again would prolong the process even more.

bank officer is not authorized to ask for no marriage certificate as bank is bound to make payment according to the instructions of district accounts officer who is controlling officer regarding pension matters.
i would suggest u to get no marriage certificate attested from any official of district accounts office or get a letter from concerned district accounts officer regarding payment of pension, as bank have no direct control over pension payment matters.
