Can anyone comment here what is the meaning of 2012 film, and what is going on and what will happen in 2012 at 21st December.

The Mayan Calender (very accurate..) says thats the exact day the world will end.. the calender stops at that date

The Egyptians did too.

Everything says that the world will end on that date.. I saw a documentary about it on the History Channel.. It was really interesting..

What do you think? Will it happen or it's just another fake?

Oh God! Not again. What's wrong with you people? Why to see what Mayan Calender says? Why not to ponder on what Quran says?

If you read Islam deeply, you will get that there is not sign of doomsday for at least next 50 years. According to Mayan Calander, the world would end after 3 years in 2012. Lets see the major signs before Qayamah.

• It will rain for forty days and the earth will be cleansed. Muslims will burn the bows and arrow of Yajooj and Majooj for 7 years. Life will be peaceful while Prophet Isa (Alayhis salam) is alive. The earth will be bountiful. Prophet Isa will live 19 years after marriage.

7 years. According to Mayan Calender 3 years left and still no sign of Yajooj Majooj.
19 years. And Hazrat Isa (A.S) has not descended yet.

• The Ka'bah will be destroyed by non-Muslim African group. Kufr will be rampant. Hajj will be discontinued. The Qur’an will be lifted from the heart of the people, 30 years after the ruler Muquad’s death.

30 years. Nothing is heard yet about Muquad.

• The hidden treasures will spill forth at Dajjal's command. He will stay on this Earth for a period of forty days; the length of the first day will be one year, the second day will be equal to one month, the third day will be equal to a week and the remaining days will be normal.

• Hadhrat Abu Saeed Khudri (R.A.) relates that Rasulullah (Sallallahu Alayhi Wasallam) said, "Al Mahdi will be from my progeny. His forehead will be broad and his nose will be high. He will fill the world with justice and fairness at a time when the world will be filled with oppression. He will rule for 7 years."

7 years. No news about Imam Mahdi so far. (A.S).

Anyways if I am asked to write a review of the movie i would suggest you not to waste your two hours and 20 minutes

well i think ur quite ryt, though i havent watch so called 2012 movie. its just a waste of time to discuss over if world is going to an end on 21st of december 2012 or no. see if today, one person dies for suppose, the world has come to an end for him and rest of the ppl just doesnt matter. one one knows when he/she will die.. and yeah just as last island mentioned some of the saying from QURAN, nothing seems to match that particular day(21st dec 2012), those saying cant be wrong at all and so its now called a rumor that world will end one the 21st of december 2012

There apparently is a great deal of interest in celestial bodies, and their locations and trajectories at the end of the calendar year 2012. Now, I for one love a good book or movie as much as the next guy. But the stuff flying around through cyberspace, TV and the movies is not based on science. There is even a fake NASA news release out there… So here is the scientific reality on the celestial happenings in the year 2012.

Nibiru, a purported large object headed toward Earth, simply put - does not exist. There is no credible evidence - telescopic or otherwise - for this object's existence. There is also no evidence of any kind for its gravitational affects upon bodies in our solar system.

I do however like the name Nibiru. If I ever get a pet goldflish (and I just may do that sometime in early 2013), Nibiru will be at the top of my list.


The Mayan calendar does not end in December 2012. Just as the calendar you have on your kitchen wall does not cease to exist after December 31, the Mayan calendar does not cease to exist on December 21, 2012. This date is the end of the Mayan long-count period, but then – just as your calendar begins again on January 1 - another long-count period begins for the Mayan calendar.

There are no credible predictions for worrisome astronomical events in 2012. The activity of the sun is cyclical with a period of roughly 11 years and the time of the next solar maximum is predicted to occur in the period 2010 – 2012. However, the Earth routinely experiences these periods of increased solar activity – for eons - without worrisome effects. The Earth’s magnetic field, which deflects charged particles from the sun, does reverse polarity on time scales of about 400,000 years but there is no evidence that a reversal, which takes thousands of years to occur, will begin in 2012. Even if this several thousand year-long magnetic field reversal were to begin, that would not affect the Earth’s rotation nor would it affect the direction of the Earth’s rotation axis… only Superman can do that.

The only important gravitational tugs experienced by the Earth are due to the moon and sun. There are no planetary alignments in the next few decades, Earth will not cross the galactic plane in 2012, and even if these alignments were to occur, their effects on the Earth would be negligible. Each December the Earth and Sun align with the approximate center of the Milky Way Galaxy but that is an annual event of no consequence.

The predictions of doomsday or dramatic changes on December 21, 2012 are all false. Incorrect doomsday predictions have taken place several times in each of the past several centuries. Readers should bear in mind what Carl Sagan noted several years ago; "extraordinary claims require extraordinary evidence."

For any claims of disaster or dramatic changes in 2012, the burden of proof is on the people making these claims. Where is the science? Where is the evidence? There is none, and all the passionate, persistent and profitable assertions, whether they are made in books, movies, documentaries or over the Internet, cannot change that simple fact. There is no credible evidence for any of the assertions made in support of unusual events taking place in December 2012.

¤ Isa (Jesus) will come during the time of Dajjal;

Thanks for sharing such nice and logical vies about 2012 and Qayama't. Well let me contribute a little by saying this movie is nothing but just a political rather religious conspiracy. Infect, they want to convey message that this world would never taste its end or they can Challenge to ALLAH (Astagfirulla) and they would live again. Rest of all, well quoted by LI and Silent Lala that we have to believe and in ISLAM's sayings that although, no doubt we have to get encounter with QAYAMAT but before that, we should wait about the very common signs like arrival of Hazrat Isa (Aleh Salam) and his (Aleh Salam) rule over the world with a period of 40 years and reuniting of Muslims of different sects into a single true religion. So, it is crystal clear that no sign of Qayamat until 4o years but we should keep in mind that we can die anytime and any day............. No limit of death has been given.

the reality of "day of Judgment " is simple and real . and it has to come either in 2012 or 3012 . only God knows the right time because its His order.

The only factor i felt about 2012 is that God has His own ways of warning people may this is just one of the marks for those who dont believe in "Day of Judgment " .. just a warning ...

May God be with the believers . and show us the right path and give us strength to be steadfast on His chosen way . ameen .
