This qoute can be a reality of life for someone who face more challenging job after completing 1st one.But i think Allah always reward for your efforts and if you think that its not, than it is for you to make you more strong and in the end there will be a big reward of success for you.

I have discussed this quote with Masjid's prayer leader and he replied that Allah knows the real meaning of success. We define success according to our thinking which may be wrong. So whenever someone finds the key to success(which may not be success in reality), Allah changes the lock--Allah turns it into failure so that he may get the real success which Allah knows....this process continues until he/she finds the real success...
So, if you look at its meaning on the fly, you will find that Allah is Naoozu Billah doing injustice to human being but in reality, all his actions are for the betterment and welfare of HIS creatures.

Default whenever i got key to success someone changed the lock
I came to know Allah by defeat of my will said once Hazrat Ali.
To me this might be close explantion of above quote.Sometimes we are struglling to go through the life and find way but to us there is another puzzle which we have to solve and we get lost and are lost
