Look like a lady ? why a man should do that ? Should he be going to parlour and arrange for a make-up kit and in the end make himself a laughing stock.

Be like man ? for what ? most of the men dont like a lady who does like a man. A women should be a women always with the characteristics typical of women.

The society has described roles for male/female and it is best to fit yourself in those roles to avoid tension in urself and conflict in society.

Answer : Because They are (reasons can be debated, beyond the scope of this discussion)

None, both & Everyone. They (females) are because they listen to their parents when they tell them not to go to schools, colleges & universities because it's considered bad in society. The parents are because they follow weird society standards and/or they hear from here and there that women when given freedom can cause problems (i.e become a source of defaming the family etc). Then everyone because they follow and strive not to change the so-called society.

NOTE : This is only one reason for women not studying, the biggest one in pakistan. There are many other reasons though

If you analyze my answer, I have already answered that. I said "None, both, everyone". Considering what you said and few other logical aspects (W.R.T Pakistan) I used the word "NONE" as well.

Indeed, This is the situation in Pakistan and several other countries. That's why I came up with the Argument that If education makes one sophisticated then men are more sophisticated than women (In context of our country, and several others) as more men are Educated as compared to women (Again, In context to Pakistan)


I beg to differ. Men and Women are/were & NEVER will be equal. You CAN NEVER make them equal. It is God who created them differently & you cannot challenge him. Physically, psychologically etc women and men are different .. Also, If you think men and women are equal, why don't you have a boxing match b/w a Man and a female? Why don't you expect a mother, sister, wife to go out and fight a robber (when situation arises) in presence of son, brother & husband respectively? We should not follow blindly what the west say, In 21st century Logic is still used so I can say that men and women are not equal. In some Areas, Men are superior while in some areas Women are superior.
