We learn from every book unconsciously.I don't think one plans to act upon verdicts of a writer or becomes what he wants to become infact it is implicit learning.It is my opinion,you can disagree

Well there are many books which I can call my favourite.

1)Raja Gidh by Bano Qudsiya

I liked=Halal haraam ka concept,psychology of men and women,concept of ishq aur sab se barh k mujhe wo philosophy pasand ayi thi,exact line yad nae,crux ye tha;

mardon aur aurton ne apne apne "pakeezgi" k darjay banaye hue hain;
"Burqay wali aurat chadar lenay wali ko bura samjhti hai...chadar lenay wali nangay ser phirnay wali ko bad'kirdaar smjhti hai,nangay ser phirnay wali katay baalon wali ko..aur wo us ko bura smjhti hai jo mardon se hans hans k baaten kerti hai..
mardon ki b categories hain..nazer baazi kernay wala mard,ruqaa(letter) denay walay ko ghattya samjhta hai...ruqqa denay wala hotels aur parks mein ghoomnay walay ko...hotel and parks mein ghoomnay wala....is se agay kia kahun..

halal haram ki philosophy

"Maghrib k pass haram halal ka tasawur nahi hai aur mari theory hai k jis waqt haram rizq jism mein dakhil hota hai wo insani genes ko mutaseer krta hai.. Rizq-e-haram se 1 khas kisam ki "mutation" hoti hai jo khtarnaq adviyat sharab aur radtiation se bhi ziada muhliq hai..
Rizq-e- halal se jo genes takhur pazir hote hain wo lolay langray aur andhay hi nahi hote balkay NA UMEED bhi hote hain..Nasl-e- insani se yeh genes jab nasal dar nasal hum mein safar karte hain tou in genes k andar asi zahni paragndgi payda hoti hai
jis ko hum pagalpan kehte hain. yaqin kar lo rizq-e- haram se hi humari anay wali naslon ko pagalpan warast mein milta hai aur jin Qomon mein min hasul qoom rizq-e- haram khane ka lapka par jata hai wo min hasul qoom DEEVANI hone lagti hain."

Books ka pooch bethi ho..dil ker raha hai likhti jaun

is k elava "Muhabbat murda phoolon ki symphony" by Mazher ul Islam..bohat pasand hai..us mein "muhabbat k dunya se taizi se khatam honay pe tashveesh ka izhaar kia gaya hai.Intehai khubsurat alfaaz ka istemal hai..He is a pragmatist..lafzon ka jadoogar..Mazher Ul Islam.

"Oedipus Rex" by Sophocles....aah..what a tragedy..!!
This drama depicts the helplessness of man before divine forces..It is one of the world's best three tragedies.

"Importance of being Earnest" by Oscar Wild.A satire on upper class of society.I like the witty lines of this drama,it brings smile on one's face

Kia likhun kia choroonJitni books parh choreen hain,aik thread mein sama nae sakteen.

"paris mei dussra janam"(second life in paris) although an urdu version of a french writer related to the life of a famous fashion designer mahmood bhatti who was born n spent his early life in pakistan but made his fortune in france ..i am really impressed by his efforts and hardwork ...a school n college bunkum becoming a billionaire...

its not a very philosophical book as it is merely a biography of mahmood bhatti but the main philosophy behind this book is that although fortune plays its role in ones life but ultimately its the hardwork that works n pays u in life.

My all the favorite Novel "The old Man and the Sea" by Earnest Hemingway
which taught me devotion, courage and steadfastness. I love the struggle of old man and the theme line of the Novel "A man can be destroy but not defeated."

Raja Gidh by Bano Qudsia

What a beautiful theory of Halal and Haram described in this book I have never seen before.

Sahab Nama by Qudrat ullah Sahab

I have no words to praise this wonderful masterpiece.

Khutbat-e-Bahawalpure by Dr.Hameed ullah

Just one book comprising knowledge on almost every field of Islam. Its not like other books, having tough language etc..but a beautiful book it seems like if we are listening a beautiful story on Islam.

Some other books also, i'l share another time inshallah.

Regards,

there are many such books which directly or indirectly affect the reader and one learns from every book he reads. the books which inspired me the most are:
Quran
Bang-e-dra(Iqbal);
raja gidh(banu qudsiya); concept of halal hram, psychology of human beings, description of conscience and concept of ishq-e-la'hasil.... its one of the best novels i have ever read.
the alchemist(paulo coelho); its all about the realization of dreams and struggle to achieve the goals.
the pilgrimage(paulo coelho) worth reading book its also about testing one's potentials.
and
qatra qatra qulzam(wasif ali wasif); one must read such books.....
