what is difference between jahlee and chalee ?

it's meaning plz ? i think jahlee mean befakoof but what's mean chalee ?

i agree with LI and CFC.

dear,dictionary meanings can be different from that of common use.The dictinoary is of Urdu But these two words are considered or used as punjabi words specially chali.

i think the difference is of language and accent:

koi muhazib urdu dan"jhali"likhta hai
aur gaon ka punjabi "chali"bolta hai...lekin meaning aik hi hai.

meri naqis aqal bas yahan tak kaam ker rahi hai

Difference between jhalli n challi is only of the dialects.
people of different places have different dialects and accents.
In districts like mandi bahauddin, sargodha, jhang etc they say jhalli and in districts like lahore, kasur, gujranwala, gujrat, jehlum etc they say challi

some more words to make you understand. these are words of Punjabi which are articulated in local dialects respectively.

behn (sister) - pehn
bhra (brother) - p'ra
ghar (home) - k'rr
gha (grass) - k'aa
dho (to wash) - t'o
bhuk (hunger) - pukh
jhalla (mad) - challa
bharjai (bhabi) - parjai
