Download English Movies
Dear members,
In a thread to improve english, I came to know watcing english movies with subtitles are beneficial. I download movies by using utorrent but these are not with subtitles.Without subtitles I am not able to understand the english properly.Can someone help me out to download english movies with subtitles. Thanks in advance. |

you can download subtitles separately. there are a couple of websites for this. but simply google the name of movie plus language of the subtitles you wanna have.

You can google it.. or just visit the following website to download the subtitle files... The format would be .srt...
http://www.opensubtitles.org/en After downloading you would need vlc player or others to jointly play the movie and the subtitles. Regards |

I usually download subs from Subscene - Subtitles for International TV-Series and Movies
If you rename the subtitles file the same as the video file, then VLC player will automatically pick up the subs. Else, you will need to drag the sub file over the running video. Enjoy your collection ! :-)

You don't need to drag subtitle file on VLC... Its better to open the movie through Media --> Advanced Open File (ctrl + shift + O)... There you'll be able to open Movie file and subtitle file simultaneously...
