Waiting for Godot by Samuel Beckett.... ??? You would need to study not only the drama, but also a little about Existentialism, Nihilism, Sociolinguistics and may be a bit of History. Nonetheless, it has four main characters...
Estragon, Vladimir, Pozzo and Lucky. It has two acts... Regards |

Aye! Waiting for Godot, I was thinking on the same page, Well there is another play of Mr. Beckett namely "Endgame" having four characters out of which two main... there is a classy contradiction between two main characters, aged master Hamm and his servant Clov, one who can't stand up and the other who can't sit down., I like it
waitaminute.,,.,.,. it would not be fair to not to discuss Jean Paul Sartre's "No Exit"., what a powerful play from a powerful playwright, having four characters.... I love it (and its a one-act play) ;-)
