Islamabad: Chief Justice of Pakistan, Justice Iftikhar Mohammad Chaudhry, on Wednesday has issued notice to his son, Dr Arsalan Iftikhar, in order to probe regarding the allegations prevailing in the media that he has recieved an amount of Rs 400 million to influence his father.
The SC also issued notices to Pakistani business tycon, Malik Ryaz Ahmed and Attorney General of Pakistan Irfan Qadir in order to probe regarding the allegations.
A three member bench presided by CJP Iftikhar would hear the case on Wednesday in an open court. The Bench would also include Justice Khilji Arif Hussain and Justice Jawwad.S. Khawaja.
Earlier Renowned journalist and Pakistan’s news group, The News, editor Shaheen Sehbai has claimed in a video that soon a scandal is likely to surface against the Chief Justice of Pakistan Iftikhar Muhammad Chaudhery’s son, Dr Arsalan Iftikhar.
Sehbai said that “CJ’s son was given up to Rs.400 million in a planned conspiracy. The conspiracy is now completed and can be brought to surface anytime.”
According to Shaheen Sehbai CJ’s son received millions of rupees plus sponsored foreign trips, during 2009, 2010 and 2011 to London, with credit cards to be used abroad for him and his family from a famous business tycoon of Pakistan, Malik Riaz, (named by Kamran Khan in his programme ‘Aaj Kamran Khan K Sath’).

But we must remember that at this moment, there is not a SHRED of evidence against Dr Arsalan. Mere allegations by journalists are harldy enough to convict anyone. In its current state, the case won't stand in any court in the world. Lets see if any concrete evidence is presented.

i think this is a great connive against CJ. judiciary is just an institution which is playing its positive and vital role and fighting against all the evils of society.
