Federal Government Educational Institutions (Cantt/Garrison) are imparting, education to wards of Armed Forces personnel and civilian residents of cantonments , situated in cantts
only under FGEI directorate.

fazaia or schools in PAF colonies fall under FGEIs (C/G) means under defence.

so there is no way that F.G school teacher can be posted in F.G school abroad under Pakistani Embassies, i was told by some one that they can be placed there, although i don't think so.....! Greeen shirt please comment or any one else who know...!

sorry I didnt come across anybody from FGEI (C/G) posted abroad as u mentioned, I will check it , if found will post here in sha Allah but rare chances, if there is any case, so don't keep this option in your mind plz.

Any idea Amir Ali ..... when they will send the appointment letter. How much more time it will take, i am also one of the selected candidates... And what about the posting chances, on what basis they will place the candidates, will it be merit wise or regional basis...!

Dear, I have also been sent recommendation letter for the same post. Usually they post out of station, out of home province. I am concerned about accommodation in cantts/Garrison? A friend of mine already working in FG Schools in Grade-16 told me that they don't provide accommodation usually. My prime concern is weather they are going to provide me accommodation? because I have family and children with me. It will be very hard for a person to leave his province with children without any residence. Any body knows it? Please reply me.

First of all congrats to all those friends who have been selected in FGEI (C/G), as far as this job is concerned, I would request them to visit your nearest school & meet teachers to have a clear idea of FGEI. It can't be discussed here thoroughly. Every deptt has pros & cons. Anyhow, u must be crystal clear that u r joining Education deptt, & it is very prestigious & respectable profession but very different from executive posts. Although with the passage of time normally teachers are adjusted to nearest stations but U must be ready to serve anywhere in FGEI throughout Pakistan & I don't think that there is any govt school in all govt deptts (sorry if there are some special cases) with residential colonies within Pakistan but they make some local arrangements like reserving or building some rooms or hostel for bachelors & arranging some family quarters.
