Bundle of thanks to everyone. It's now much clearer now. I am choosing Instructor in Computer Science.
A few more questions please:
1. As I mentioned in my post#1, I have submitted my arrival and medical report for Office Assistant but expecting Joining Order after Eid ul Azha. But for Instructor, I have only got the recommendation letter on 25 October,2012. I don't know how much time will this take till its joining. So I have time to first join as Office Assistant and then resign it and join as Instructor. Here, what should I do? Join Office Assistant and then resign and then join as instructor OR don't join Office Assistant at all and join as Instructor only?

2. Someone have any idea about the city of posting as Instructor?

3. Salary as reported by Bozdar Iqbal in post#8 is 30,000. What about the mess and accommodation etc?

Congratulations. You should go for BPS-17. The current salary package for bps-17 is starting from 30200 basic pay scale. 40% Medical all: 30% Conveince All: 50% house rent. you will get total 30200+15100+12080+9060=66440 as per new scale revised policy.

Congrats man. Computer Instructor has no comparison with office assistant... You must go for Computer Instructor straight a way! it will help you learn more than you earn. Good Luck:-)

You may call FPSC and ask how much time will it take from now to join the computer instructor job. If it is not approximately a month or les then i believe you should inform KPSC that you will not be joining the office assistant job as you have been offered a better job and they should right away offer it to the candidate next in merit order.

Office Assistant ( BS-14 ) at Civil Secretariat, Peshawar will earn you more respect and connections in society . You will meet mature people as well as CSS/PMS officers and you will learn a lot from them which will give you confidence and motivation towards your real goal for CSS.
Another factor is that of place of posting in the job of Computer Instructor ( BS-17 ) at FG schools. You may be posted in city away from home. Even if not, you will always live under fear of transfer. While job of Office Assistant ( BS-14 ) at Civil Secretariat is non-transferable.The monetary benefits of BS-17 will be cancelled out with issues of living in another city and always hanging sword of transfer.

Hey any body know whats the difference in F.G Education system under CDA and F.G.E.I under ministry of Defense...! I am being recommended by FPSC for the Computer Instructor (Bs-17) in F.G.E I under ministry of Defense..!

Please share if any one has knowledge regarding this.?

Apparently, it looks that CDA controls FG schools & colleges in the city of Islamabad while Ministry of Defense controls affairs of F.G.E.I schools & colleges in rest of country. Now Question is whether a person selected for F.G.E.I under ministry of defense, can be posted in F.G. schools in Islamabad under CDA????
