Default BE Electrical (Telecommunication) Engineering or BE Telecom Engineering Degree?

BE/BSc Electrical (Telecommunication) Engineering or BE/BSc Telecommunication Engineering Degree both are equivalent or not??? I mean both can be used to apply for a job which requires BE Electrical Engineering Degree??? Someone clear this point to me.....

As per my knowledge, If you have BS Electrical (Telecommunication) Engineering degree then PEC registers you as an Electrical Engineer. On the basis of this degree one can apply for both Electrical and Telecommunications related job.

Telecommunication Engineering is a separate category and you'll get a separate telecom engr title from PEC!
