According to my opinion Youtube and other sites should not be blocked .It hit a severe blow over Pakistan`s economy .One can open any URL by changing VPNz or by torrent .I have downloaded many videos by changing my VPN .Its means there are certain issues which need to be discussed .

Pakistan can blocked all URLz or can established body which have to frame legal laws regarding Internet censorship and uploaded material .

My question is if I ,and you will upload any movie you tube on Holocaust or on controversial issues ,It would be removed with in hours .Why ? Sites in these countries are not blocked rather content is eliminated .In Pakistan ,case is opposite ,we block sites instead of filtration of such content .

This video is really a hate speech .But My point is our reaction is not satisfactory . Many argue about Freedom of Expression ,then why New Information Order was created by Nehru and Titu ?

Every country has its own policy in respect of censorship or internet. China has blocked facebook completely. Pakistan's premier has also decided to block Youtube till the removal of blasphemous contents.

In our country nation is divided over issue of Youtube majority are in favor of ban whereas rest of them want to unblock it, if blasphemous contents are available on youtube then, on internet is also available easily, so banning internet in Pakistan will not serve the purpose. Links of those contents may be blocked in the country.

You have referred China policy of blocking face book.Please provide information why is it blocked .You tube and Google are foreign sites .These sites provide content to local stake holders .What do you think is there any need of defining editorial policy of these issues . Erick Schmidt wanted to come here to open legal office for you tube as well of Google . Because only INP work in Pakistan. All other countries have designed ownerships for such sites but Pakistan does not own such site.Why ? If Pakistan would have owned then No blasphemous content would be published .

Google has given pakistan`s domain but no authorize body is working there ;www.google.com/pk

Both these sites are being run by local banks and their stakeholders . Whereas there is no established office or independent body in pakistan .why ?



Do you think like foreign policy ,Pakistan as nation has been failed to develop media policy ?What is your view regarding lack of communication skill which allow nation to turn towards violence .Which did not convey what Muslims want but have printed a bad image for them .

Say hello to the state of fear and anxiety where we should stop using mobile phones because terrorists also use it, should stop using internet because some fanatics use it, should not drive through some specific roads because some infidels could possibly use them. We need to find a solution; we cannot force this continuing act of isolation upon ourselves; we have to be part of the globalized world but only if some sensible head in Authorities could realise it chances of which though are near to extinct.

That is the problem Pakistan has not it own website as substitute to Youtube and Facebook etc whereas China has developed its own thats why they are not dependent on these famous sites and try to promote their own websites. Further, they want to promote their communist regime so Facebook, Youtube etc may harm their interest.

Banning youtube is not the solution.It is just a reaction and that too an emotional one.Facebook,internet has more blasphemous content than youtube.

Discussion can take place and as a result possible solutions can be framed out to prevent such incidences.
