Lightbulb Which wire is better for Electricity
Assalam-o-Allikum to All Member,First of all sorry for asking an irrelevant question, but I hope its the better forum where someone can help its colleague, Now coming to the Point, i have a query regarding Electricity wire for Power Transmission, I want to get an electricity wire extension from my neighbor, the distance between two house is about 40 to 50 Meter , So, what type of Electric Wire is Better for Extension e.g Copper Wire or Aluminum wire..?
Please give your feed back regarding this matter.

Aluminum wires are used only because they are less in weight than copper wires and therefore require support after long intervals. That's why we see that in industry and on large scales, aluminium wires are used. However Aluminum has also corrosive property.

There is no comparison of pure copper wires in terms of conductivity. If you can give support to wire or distance is not too much, then go for copper.
