Default Local Bodies Election, Powerless DMG Officers

Today Sindh Government announced a schedule for local bodies election, similarly, Shehbaz Sharif already approved a draft for local bodies election in Punjab. Even Supreme court instructed newly built government to hold local bodies election before September, which means that local body government system is coming in action again. Previously DC or Dco used to be a administrative head of a district, a revenue collector and at the same time a Magistrate. But now if Local bodies come in practical, The Dc or Dco, will no longer be retaining above mentioned powers. Dc will be just like a puppet under the Nazim of a District and he needs to report for every matter. So the time has come, and i am afraid DMG ( PAS) will lose its prestige and in next CSS exams, DMG will not be a first priority for aspirants.

Every person in Government is puppet in the hands of his officer.
We can not say DGM officers will become puppet.
The purpose of Local body election is to solve issues of masses at grass root level.
If it will be transparent, insh ALLAH many issues will be solved.
