Exclamation Increase in CSS Fee & progress of FPSC

Increase in CSS Fee from Rs 1000/- to Rs 1500/- & now to Rs 2200/- is capricious, cruel, exploitation of unemployment & under-employment in the country, an act of minting money on the name of service commision.

Things do not end here, FPSC will show its commitment, hard work and professional approach towards CSS Exam in later stages by following actions

1) FPSC will not issue Roll Number Slips.

2) One day before exam they will ask you to print from website.

3)The website will remain over-loaded & would not open (better try your luck before Fajar prayer when every one is sleeping & website is not overloaded).

4) They will allot you centers not w.r.t your home address rather they are so genius that they leave this task at the mercy of clerks & computers (MS Access) to allot you centers w.r.t your name alphabets.

5) Also the Chariman FPSC is high brow person and FPSC would not entertain any request for center change.

6) FPSC telephones will go silent near the exams.

7) If you are at one end of your city and you are allotted a center at the other end of the city leaving all centers near your home, then do not raise your voice because center allocation is computer allotted.

8) FPSC has become a terrible service commission after departure of Sir Bhagwan Daas, so be prepared for these possible Clerical mistakes of FPSC.

Lets hope FPSC behaves nicely this time, last year they were terrible. They are only concerned with the amount of money and not the quality of service.

You didn't mention another important problem.
They have started registration for CSS-2014 and the result of Written exam CSS-2013 is yet to be announced.
Last year result was announced on 4th October and registration was started on 1st december.
It clearly shows that situation is going from from bad to worse.

FPSC has some really serious issues. First they had mentioned in their interview with the Dawn that results will come at the end of September.
In their FAQ section they have also mentioned that it will take them 5 months to announce the result. It has been more than 7 months since the last paper.
Faisalabad scam couldn't be used as an excuse for the late result. They could have prepared their result by employing a larger workforce and making a deadline. It was their administrative failure, they had to make up for it, not the candidates.
Inviting applications before announcing the result is as absurd as it can be. How could I assess that I need to change my subjects or give the next attempt at all. I still have to submit the form, there's a lose-lose situation. If I fail, I can't change my subjects, If I pass and decide I won't be giving the next attempt, my 2200 rupees have gone down the drain.
Seriously FPSC is behaving nuts. I'm sure they will do more 'Pangas' in the future.

I agree with you all

I have been waiting for result to see if I need to change my optionals or not, do I need to appear for the second attempt or not, but to FPSC for playing smart with candidates. Viewing this situation I fear that in near future FPSC will lose its prestige. Be ready for the worst.

FPSC should improve its on-line application process.
every one is having issue in printing this application.

Cut of date is 31 dec what about those who born on 31 dec ,they will attain an exact date of 28 years on 31 dec, why they are ineligible?

when I asked FPSC concern he cant give me any tangible reply and said rules are very much clear.

they are using all Govt resources like exam centre, teachers etc then why FPSC has increased its fee almost 50%.

It seems price hike has been now fashion in Pakistan and FPSC is also following this fashion like petrol and diesel.

This year ETEA in KPK announced medical entry test result in less than 24 hours where nearly there were 15000 candidates.

FPSC takes 5 to 7 months in announcing any screening result.
