Default If someone abuse on street ...
if two persons are abusing each other on streets or during driving OR if some unknown person on way abuse you then what should be the reaction? stay calm and mind your own business OR indulge into the issue and resort to physical fighting ?

First insulate them from each other and then try to convince them not to fight, but, owing to the quality of our citizenry, physical involvement would be applicable in most of the cases. If you're a man of status in your society and the fighters do know that then stopping them would be easy comapratively than.......

one should lodge FIR under section 504 and 506 of PPC against the person who abused you.

that is not the solution because everyone stay away from court/kacheri due to wastage of time and resources. Yes, this can be applicable in developed countries.

If I see that I can stop them by force then I will certainly do that.
Or
I will try to make them understand not to abuse each other, if they are sane they will understand.
Or
If couldn't do any of the above, then I will leave them saying that they are doing wrong and may Allah give them Hidayah.
Hence, I might use one of the aforementioned options depending upon the gravity of the situation and my strength(Power, status etc.)
