tracking someone through mobile

I want to know something about tracking of location of someone through one's mobile number . Is it possible in Pakistan to get pinpoint location of a person using his mobile number ? Secondly who can access our call history and sms messages record in Pakistan ? Is someone with reference can go into my call log and location ? please explain this to me ..

one can easily found the location,only city name, from where sim has been activated or you can say the city name from where you had purchased the sim.
many websites perfom the task,google it.
now come to the second question, your mobile record,sms and call record, can not be given without your permission.you can find the record by registering your number at the website of your network provider.
for registration you have to enter your mobile number at the website ,then a secrete code is sent on your mobile number which has to be enter at the website.after done all you will find the record of your number.

In theory law enforcement agencies can do both. In reality even they have to rely on intelligence agencies to pass on that information.

About the call logs not anyone at call center can access the data. It is on need to know basis. Logs are maintained who accessed what and mostly they have in house controls to keep in check unauthorized access by employees. Like in some cases if an employee passes a client's information along it costs him/her the job.

actually i am a witness in a murder case . the accused are trying to access me .. thy got my cell no . i am afraid that they can trace me . thats why i am asking this . they have some links in IB . i dont know whether IB will help them in finding my location . thats y i am really worried

Switch off your cell. Get a new sim. There is no rocket science in this.

Change your sim as well as cell phone. If you use the same cell phone then there are ways through which they can get your new number.

i think it is not easy to pinpoint a civilian who is not involved in any crime . a call log can be obtained through some source in a cellular company . but pinpointing is not an easy task
