Thesis help
Hi everybody,
As my title suggests, I need your expertise on my perplexing thesis problem, and I want you to help me on this. I'm doing my MSC in media studies and I have to conduct research in form of thesis before I can get my degree. My area of interest is sports, or anything related to current affair, with the variable of media. meaning that, I have to keep the media variable intact for my thesis. Media can be anything, such as print media, electronic media and so on, and they can be sub grouped into newspapers, radio tv etc. can you suggest me something related to terrorist attack on the srilankan team in Pakistan and media coverage or something regarding India and Pakistan matches and media coverage? Your response will be highly appreciated. Hoping to hear from you, The Reader! |

Terrorist attack on Sri Lankan Team is very old issue and if you will do your research on this topic it won't be very significant . Select your topic according to its significance. You can do a comparative analysis of the coverage of ethnic issues in Pakistani newspapers or Tv channels in perspective of "peace journalism ". OR , you can work on the role of Tv channels to increase the rift between Military and Government on the issue of "Musharraf Trial" .

1- The topic I suggested on Musharaff trial you can apply "Case Study" and "Survey" methods on this topic. You can make questionnaire to see the impact of prime time shows on the general public. whether it turned them against musharff and military or pro musharaf.
2- you can do a survey on the impact of media on public about "Peace talks with Taliban". you can measure whether it was negative, positive or neutral coverage and how it effects the perception of people.

Hello call me for change (I'm sorry I don't know your name), what is your own perspective on the Musharraf trial subject and which program should be analysed? before I can start my work on it, I have to verify it and should have to listen or read the contents. which talkshow or shows I should listen to and which newspaper and editorial page you think are of most important to study? I appreciate for all of your help.

Hi everyone, I would like to consult you for the literature review of my topic. I'm doing content analysis of the nation and the news on their coverage of Musharraf trial in their opinion and editorial pages. I'm trying to find articles on portrayal of media of trials such as hosney mubaraq, saddam Husain, and any article that I can include in my literature review. if you can find me some, I will be greatly obliged.
