There's some that crawl out of satin sheets and into silk suits
While are others that crawl out of sleeping bags and into combat boots
Some have secret service to protect them from all harm
Others have secret weapons and a rifle over their arm
Some ride in mercs with bullet proof glass
Others ride in police jeeps with bullets flying past
Some sleep in a big house sealed with a guarded gate
Others sleep in a canvas tent only sealed by fate
Some get calls from their sons 'I'll be home when the jet arrives'
Others hear a stranger's voice :
'Your son is coming home...
with the others who lost their lives'
Some fight for our country with just the words they say
while others die in an encounter so we'll have peace one day
With their faces on the mighty rupee not one looks you in the eye
But if you look on the back you'll see their words written in the sky
Almost like a message
Hoping that we'll see
The only one we can rely on to do what's best for us
