Default Brutal silence


walls around, will tell you
story of my survival, without you.
It was not easy to forget,
Wounds of your memories and,
I remember every smile,
every word your eyes said.
your shivering lips, unspoken emotions,
never allowed me to say
what my heart wanted to,
and you never understood
what my silence means.
I then decided to stay calm,
and let you realise
how brutal silence is....!!!
Now walls around you, will tell you,
story of my survival, without you

may i know why is the silence your theme of poetry these days??
coz thats mine too..

where in my poem"the kiss of conssumation" i wrote
"the hushed crown"

"SILENCE will carry your voice like the nest that holds the sleeping birds."

am reading "stray birds" these days and have found that Tagore have used this theme more explicitly in his poems.
Silence is praised as the ideal state of love, sympathy and beauty:

"THE silent night has the beauty of the mother and the clamorous day of the child."
am much impressed with that. so may be my inclination is towards "silence" due to this (may be or may not be....???) that is the question....really not sure why? just spontaneous...

well thats a coincidence i think: u chose that coz u r reading Tagore, while i am reading non these days still chose silence as my theme.........
