Lightbulb Mortal Love

With this simple mortal heart
Comes a true immortal love
Pains will no longer tear it apart
Coz it already survived a worst love.


It became wiser and much stronger
It’s been a lesson since what happened
But still it will be faithful forever
To it’s only love until the end.


This mortal heart is the last one I’ve got
I must be careful to whom I should give
Thinking if I should still give it or not
Hoping when I give love, I’ll also receive.


So hard to give this mortal heart away
Knowing that it will be hurt again, anytime
Though it will suffer again it’s still okay
At least I tried and give my best all the time.


With this single mortal heart
Comes a faithful immortal love
Wish to never be broken apart
By the love I wished to have.
