aa bhii jaao kii zindagii kam hai
tum nahii.n ho to har Khushii kam hai

vaadaa kar ke ye kaun aayaa nahii.n
shahar me.n aaj raushanii kam hai

jaane kyaa ho gayaa hai mausam ko
dhuup ziyaadaa hai chaa.Ndanii kam hai

aa_iinaa dekh kar Khayaal aayaa
aaj kal un kii dostii kam hai

tere dam se hii mai.n mukammal huu.

bin tere terii 'Yamini' kam hai

Khatm ye faasalaa nahii.n hotaa

kuchh to majabuuriyaa.N rahii ho.ngii
yuu.N ko_ii bevafaa nahii.n hotaa

jii bahut chaahataa hai sach bole.n
kyaa kare.n hausalaa nahii.n hotaa

raat kaa i.ntazaar kaun kare
aaj-kal din me.n kyaa nahii.n hotaa

guftaguu un se roz hotii hai
muddato.n saamanaa nahii.n hotaa

meraa jii hai jab tak terii justajuu hai
zabaan jab talak hai yahii guftaguu hai


Khudaa jaane kyaa hogaa a.njaam is kaa
mai.n besabar itanaa huu.N wo tu.nd Khuu hai


tamannaa hai terii agar hai tamannaa
terii aarazuu hai, agar aarazuu hai


kiyaa sair hamane gulzaar-e-duniyaa
gul-e-dostii me.n ajab rang-o-buu hai


Ganimat hai ye diid waa diid-e-yaaraa.N
jahaa.N mu.nd gayii aa.Nkh, mai.n huu.N na tu hai


nazar mere dil ki pa.Dii "dard" kis par
jidhar dekhataa huu.N wahii ruu-ba-ruu hai
