Kisi ajnabi ko mera likha suna rahi thi wo
Bikhray huye khuawb k Purzay utha rahi thi wo

Umar bhar pista rahi wo rishtOn ki chakki main
Baaqi rahe rishtOn se daaman churra rahi thi wo

Apni zidd to wo puri na kar saki
Ruthay huway bachOn ko mana rahi thi wo

Sehra main khile phool ko bachanay k liye
Apne ashkOn se uski pyaas mita rahi thi wo

Uski yaadOn ko kuch is tarah bhula rahi thai
Apne haathOn apna likha mita rahi thi wo

Sirf kirdaar hi to badlay thay usne
Apni hi kahani suna rahi thi wo
