Na kisi pe zakhm ayaan koi, na kisi ko fikr rafu ki hai
na karam hai hum pe habib ka, na nigah hum pe adu ki hai

saf-e-zahidan hai to be-yaqin, saf-e-mai-kashan hai to be-talab
n vo subh vird-o-vazu ki hai, na vo shaam jaam-o-sabu ki hai

na ye gham naya na sitam naya, ke teri jafa ka gila karain
ye nazar thi pehle bhi muztarib, ye kasak to dil main kabhu ki hai

kaf-e-baghban pe bahar-e-gul ka hai qarz pehlay se besh-tar
ke har ek takhta-e-gul me ab ke numud mere lahu ki hai

nahin khauf-e-roz-e-siyah hamain ki hai “Faiz” tarf-e-nigah main
abhi gosha-gir vo ik kiran jo lagan us aaina-ru ki hai
FAIZ.
