yeh maikadaa hai, yahaan Khudaa kaa naam na le


zamaane bhar meiN hain charche meri tabaahi ke
main dar rahaa hoon kahiN koi teraa naam na le


mittaa do shauq se mujhko magar kahin tum se
zamaana meri tabaahi ka intaqaam na le


jise tu dekh le ik baar mast nazaroon se
woh umr bhar kabhi haathoon mein apne jaam na le


rakhoon umeed-e-karam uss se ab main kyaa "Sahir"
ke jab nazar se bhi zaalim meraa salaam na le
