Meri palkon pe bagoolon ki uraai hui gard

Lakh lehron se utha hai meri fitrat ka khameer
Lakh qulzum meray seenay main rawan rehtay hain
Din ko kirnain meray afkaar ka muun dhoti hain
Shab ko taray meri janib nigran rehtay hain
Meray matahay pe jhalakta hai nadamat bun ker
Ibn e Maryam ka wo jalwa jo kaleesa main nahi

Raanda e mauj bhi main, mujrim e zarrat bhi main

Mera qissa kisi afsana e darya main nahi
Meri tareekh kisi safha e sehra main nahi
