ہم پے مشترکہ ہیں احسان غم الفت کے
اتنے احسان ک گنواؤں تو گنوا نہ سکوں
ہم نے اس عشق میں کیا کھویا ہے کیا سیکھا ہے،
جز ترے اور کو سمجھاؤں تو سمجھا نہ سکوں
عاجزی سیکھی ،غریبوں کی حمایت سیکھی
یاس و حرماں کے، دکھ دردکے معنی سیکھے
زیر دستوں کے مصائب کو سمجھنا سیکھا
سرد آھوں کے ، رخ زرد کے معنی سیکھے
جب کہیں بیٹھ کے روتے ہیں وہ بیکسس جن کے
اشک آنکھوں میں بلکتے ہوے سو جاتے ہیں
ناتوانوں کے نوالوں پے جھپٹتے ہیں عقاب
بازو تولے ہوے منڈلاتے ہوے آتے ہیں
جب کبھی بازار میں بکتا ہے غریبوں کا لہو
آگ سی سینے میں رہ رہ کے ابلتی ہے نہ پوچھ
اپنے دل پر مجھے قابو ہی نہیں رہتا ہے
