dil ki dhadkan bhi shayed bhar jati hogi
kitna chaha tha humne ke saath saath rahe
yeh soch kar tumhari bhi aankh bhar aati hogi


beete din ab wapas to nahi aa sakte
kho diya hai jo use to nahi pa sakte
dhool si hi rah gayi hai baki hawa mein
kash tumhe zindgi me phir se bhoola sakte


zindgi choti hai magar itni choti bhi nahi
Aankhen sookh gayi hai aur ab roti bhi nahi
zara zara si baton pe agar hum na jhagarte
to shayed yeh zindgi tumse juda hoti bhi nahi


tum nahi aaoge phir bhi rahta hai intzaar
kabhi kabhi baith jati hoon kar ke shringaar
tumhara bhi khana laga deti hoon aksar mez per
aur darwaze per daur kar jati hoon baar baar


agar bhoole se bhi kabhi hamari yaad aati ho
aur tan badan mein ek siharan si daur jati ho
mere yaar mere dil ke malik, pass chale aana
agar sooni sooni raten tumhe bahut satati ho


waise akele hi aaye hain aur akele hi jana hai
kaisa bhi ho bandhan ek din to toot jana hai
koi kitna bhi rahe pass ya kitna bhi rahe door
sukh dukh ka jalwa apne hi mann ka afasana hai
