Mere zakhmoh per kabhi ek bar marham to lagaya hota
Bewafa humhey kahney se pehle
Ek bar azma-e-wafa to kya hota
Sab kuch bhool kar har rista tor kar
Ek bar tah-e-dil se mere dil per hath to rakha hota
Bewafa kahney se pehle
Aahed-e-wafa to kya hota
Dil-e-nash-e-mann mein jo aag lagaye thi tum na
Ek bar usey bhojaya to hota

Mohabbat ke bhi kuch andaaz hote hain,
Jaagti aankho meih bhi kuch khwab hote hain,
Zaroori nahi ki gam mein hi aaso nikle,
Muskurati aankho mein bhi sailab hote hain.
