eak eshaara de raha tha chaar pal ka milan
qarz saare aansouon se aada ker rahi thi

dhoondne ko phechaan apni aya tha aayina bhi
u basi teri surat nighaon se sajda ker rahi thi

kis waja se aaj u tanha raahein hoyi
yaad teri sanam milan ki dowaa ker rahi thi

main maro ya jion wasta na tha zindaghi ko
teri ye judayi aaj apne hi wojood se khafa ker rahi thi

cheenkhein ye dunya wale k tu hai kaha
her qadm pe qadm yaad koi haadsa ker rahi thi
