Main ne her zulm saha jise pane ke liye
Woh mujhe chor gaya aaj zamane ke liye

Sari duniya main faqat aik ujale ke liye
Bus mera ghar he mila tum ko jalane ke liye

Hum ko qasid pe bharosa he nahi tha shayed
Yun chale aye khud he tum ko bulane ke liye

Un ki merzi hai ruthainge woh sau baar ..
Hum jo bethe hain yahan un ko manane ke liye

Kaise be-dil ho ke gul shaakh se tora tum ne
Chund lamhe apni jawani ko sajane ke liye

Jane yeh kaisi musibat hai mere seene main
Yaad kerta hai roz tumhain bhulane ke liye

Naqsh-e-pa tuk he mitadoonga main jate jate
Kuch bhi choroonga na main laut aane ke liye
