mujhay khabar na hoe aur zmana jatay hoey
nazar bacha k tera naam lay gia mujh say


usay ziada zarorat the ghar basanay ki
wo aa k meray dar-o-baam lay gia mujh say


bhala kahan koi juz uskay milnay wala tha
bas ek jurrat-e-nakam lay gia mujh say !


bas ek lamhay k sach jhoot kay ewaz farhat
tamam umer ka ilzaam lay gia mujh say
