Labon pe harf na koi sawal rakhta tha,
Kabi jazbaat main itna kamaal rakhta tha,

Khabar kahan thi mujay he wo bhool jayega,
Ek ek cheez jo meri sambhaal rakhta tha,

Bichartay waqt bazahir to kuch na bola tha,
Magar! nigah main so so sawaal rakhta tha,

Wo muskura k bohat dair chupp raha jaisay,
Hansi ki aar main shayad malal rakhta tha,

Suna hai log usay ab bohat satatay hain,
Jis aik shaks ka main bohat khayal rakhta tha...
