Aaj ki subah…

Aaj ki subah kuch nai si hai,
Chalte, bus chalte rehne ki chaah si hai,
Sochne ki ek aah si hai,
Aaj ki subah ek baat si hai.

Shaayad kal ki us baat ka shesh hai,
Jo aaj bhi ek khaamoshi laai hai,
Kuch ankahi baatein bhi huin,
Shaayad ab bhi unme aakrosh si hai.

Kehne waale kehte chale gaye,
Sunne waale samajhte chale gaye,
Aage ki raah bhi kuch anjaan si hai,
Aaj ki subah kuch imtihaan si hai.

Kai kar dikhaane ke lakshya hain,
Kuch na kar paane ka khauff sa hai,
Subah ek rangeen si hai, magar,
Aaj ki subah kuch ajeeb si hai.
