Na gahan aaj meray taar-e-nazar say kat gaye
Tukray tukray huay aafaq pe khursheed o qamar
Ab kisi samt andhaira na ujala ho ga
Bujh gai dil ki tarah raah e wafa meray baad
Dosto qafla-i-dard ka ab kya hoga
Ab koi aur karey parvarish e gulshan-i-gham
Dosto khatm hui dida-i-tar ki shabnam
Tham gya shor-i-junoon khatm hui barish e sung
Khaak-e-reh aaj liye hai lab e dildar ka rung
Koo-e-janan main khula meray lahoo ka parcham
Dekhiye detay hain kis kis ko sada meray baad
Kon hota hai hareef-e-mae mard afgan-e-ishq
Hai mukarrar saqi pe sala meray baad.
