ya rab teri duniya main adakaar bahoot hain
dildaar yahan kum hain dilazaar bahoot hain

woh sir pe latakti hui talwaar bhi dekhain
insaan ka lahoo pee ke jo sarshaar bahoot hain

ab koi talabgaar nahi laala o gul ka
is dour main lashoon ke khareedaar bahoot hain

woh qoum tabahi ke dahane pe khadi hai
jis qoum ki taqdeer main sardaar bahoot hain

ab aap ke wadoon ka yaqeen aye to kaise
sachaai ke pardey main riyakaar bahoot hain

haq baat ka izhaar yahan jurm hai logo
is shaher main batil ke parastaar bahoot hain

ahsaas e khudi jin main nahi un se yeh keh do
bikne ke liye kooch o bazaar bahoot hain

ab kiun lab o ariz hi ko unwaan banain
tazaeen e ghazal ke liye afkaar bahoot hain

kuch joosh e amal bhi mere ahbaab dikhain
akhbaar ki surkhi main to ghamqaar bahoot hain

taqdees e mohabbat mera imaan hai lekin
is shaher e mohabbet main gunhagaar bahoot hain

ley baithey RAIS aap bhi shayed gham e duniya
kiya baat hai kiun tanz ke ashaar bahoot hain
