Zeest jangal ki tarah, ltni bayaan’baan na lagy
Apna saa’ya bhi hamain, khud se gurezan na lagy
Ye bhara shehar, hume ltna be weeran na lagy

Aesay palkein na ho tar, aankh kabhi purnam na rahe
Dil ki dunian mein, khabi dukh ka musam na rahe
Koi armaan na ho, koi ghum ghum na rahe
